The Backstory
In 2014, Dr. Aliabadi started using GLP-1, a diabetes medicine, to treat PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) patients. The medication helped her patients lose weight and regulated their periods which in turn allowed them to get pregnant. Dr. Aliabadi soon discovered that doctors were typically treating only the symptoms of PCOS patients and not diagnosing the disease itself. She made it her mission to educate PCOS patients and help them gain back their confidence so they could live more fulfilled lives.
In 2017, Dr. Aliabadi began prescribing GLP-1 to overweight and obese patients. She had years of experience working with this medication and monitoring and coaching patients on it. She knew the treatment was life-changing because her patients were successfully losing weight without having to embark on restrictive diets. These patients who had been told to diet and exercise without seeing results were now seeing results for the first time in their lives.
Aliabadi’s OB-GYN practice in Beverly Hills exploded with word-of-mouth referrals, and for the first time, Dr. Aliabadi started treating men as well as women.
This incredible demand led to the creation of Trimly. Now, Dr. Aliabadi can bring this medically proven and life-altering medicine to people everywhere.
